On Monday April 13, CN2 news reporter John Walker interviewed Senator Wes Hayes. The interview discussed what the senate finance committee is dealing with in Columbia, SC and how accepted funds will be allocated. Senator Hayes is surprised with Governor Sanford’s actions on handling the stimulus package. He even mentions how institutions like Winthrop could be out of business if different agencies are excused. I originally saw the quick interview on television Monday evening and was able to find the clip on the CN2 news website. I was not aware that prisons were in need of funding, but am glad to know that education will be receiving money as well.
