"Other" - Governor Sanford in Fort Mill

Dr. Pope mentioned tonight the Governor Sanford spoke in Fort Mill to defend his views on the stimulus money. I found this article from the Herald online. (It should be in the paper tomorrow.) I am trying to understand where he is coming from. However, I can not get passed all of the children who will suffer in the meantime. For too many children, school is their safest and most secure place to be. It often seems like people forget how wonderful children are, and that they are the future. We need to give them the education they deserve so that they will succeed.
